HARRIERS.

The gt. Kilda jHarriere held their official opening ?un from St. Clair Baths. Paper was dispensed with, and Captain Smith led

the pack over the St. Clair hills towards the oaves. After skirting the hills for some distance the pack struck towards the golf links, from whioh a fast run home was made. The club was afterwards entertained by the president (Mr Rosevear). The members wore white bands in memory of Chaplain-captain Bands, a life member of the club, who died on active service. . There was a good attendance of members at the Pacifio Harrier Clubs run from the St Clair baths. Paper was dispensed with, and Captain Harvey led the pack over the back of the golf links, thence across the hills towards Green Island, returning via the Cliff road!. The mem/bars were afterwards entertained by the committee, and a pleasant evening was spent.
