AITKEN.—Tn loving memory of Lancecorporal Stewart Alexander- Aitken, M.M. (Main Body), who was killed in action in France on April -20, 1918, dearly beloved second son of James and Helen Aitken, Hawthorndcn, Waikaka Valley, aged 27 years. :. , m It's just one year ago to-day Since our brave young hero fell; He gave his life for his country— The lad we loved so well. BLACKIE.—In sad but loving memory of our dear son and brother, " Herb" (30th Reinforcements, Ist O.I.B.), who died from wounds at No. 5 CO. Station. France, on April 30,. 1918, beloved eldest son of W. and M. Blackie, Katea, Owaka; aged 21 years. Buried at Bagneax Military Cemetery, Gezanoourt. We see him again as he said farewell, Gallant and brave and gay; Well we remember him on the 6tation The day that he went away. We remember the day that the cable camo And we knew that his race was run, And nothing was left but an honoured name And a grave for our darling son.
