TOTALS EVACUATED AND ABROAD. WELLINGTON, April 25. A report received by the Minister of Defence states that on April 12 the mem* bers of the N.Z.E.F. remaining in Franoa numbered 423. j in United Kingdom, _2208j married men with wives and families in the United Kingdom, 1129; and nurses and Red Cross workers to ba evacuated, 227. The total number evacuated from the United Kingdom to New Zealand sine* the armistice was signed is 24,333.
