CONGESTION AT FREEZING WORKS.

EARLY RELIEF PROMISED. AUCKLAND, April 23. The congest.on of meat in the various freezing works of the Auckland district, dug to shortage of shipping space, will be re» lieved to a fair extent within the next days. With the lonic, due to-morrow ana the Corinthio on the 28th, there will be aa outlet for both moat and cheese. The Corinthio is duo to load 35,000 freight oar» cases and 2300 crates of cheese. Space hag * also been secured in the lonic, Remuera, ana Arawa. This will permit of the Horotiii works, which have been closed down on account of congestion, to reopen about the middle of next week. It is anticipated that ample shipping space will bo available from now onwards to gradually effect a clearance of the heavy stock* held in cold storage.
