The danger of eating jfcutu berries was brought home to a local family the other day (says the Orepuki Advocate). Two children, son and daughter of Mr and Mrs Houlihan, had been out at play, and on their return the little gild was noticed by her mother to be unwell and to finally collapse The boy was also affected, but in a lesser degree. An emetic was quickly administered, and thus no doubt fatal iionsequences were averted. The children have now recovered from the- effects of their experience.
