The result of this count is being awaited by both parties with rmyjh interest. The soldiers abroad have supported continuance with an overwhelming majority. The votes cast by undischarged soldiers in New Zealand will Bhow whether or not the men who voted abroad were guided by conditions that do not exist in New Zealand. Soldiers in the dominion had a better opportunity than their comrades' overseas and on the seas to hear all about the poll and to listen to the arguments on both sides. The result will probably be announced oh Thursday or Friday.

The Minister of Justice stated to-night that he would announce the returns of soldiers' votes, from each transport as they were given to him, and that the total of the soldiers' vote in New Zealand would be made public as soon as it was available.
