It is reported (says the Star) that several business properties havo been sold in Hawera lately at substantial figures. The Central Buildings changed hands at £16,000, while another mop in High street .was sold at £2OO per foot. A property in Union street was purchased for £I4OO, an advance of £SOO on a previous transaction.
