A BARQUE WRECKED.
CHRISTCHURCH. April 14. Messrs Booth and 00.. Christchurch, received advice this afternoon that the barque Albert, which left Timaru fin January 24 with 1473 casks of tallow and 50 bales of leather, has been wrecked on Point Reeves, California. The vessel was a wooden ship of 683 tons gross register, and. she is reported to bo a total loss. The cargo is valued at approximately £35.000. apd was insured by Booth and Co. with American ' underwriters
