CARGO BROACHING.

WANGANTJI, April 12. Two seamen —Henry Charles Lane and Frank Stanford—from the liner Coptic were charged at the Magistrate's Court this morning with cargo broaching. The case which they operated upon contained shirts consigned by'the patriotic committees of Australia to the Australian Imperial .Force. Four shirts were found in the possession of the accused. The case originally contained 42 shirts, whereof 36 were missing'. The accused were sentenced to a month's imprisonment on each charge, and ordered to forfeit £1 from their pay to cover the cost of the shirts.
