OVERSEAS VESSELS
The Union Company has been advised that the Paloona reached! San Francisco from Wellington, via way ports, on March 24. She was to start the return journey on Monday, and is due at Wellington about April 22. The lonic, at present en route from London to New Zealand, will make Auckland her first port of call. She will land troops at that port, amid will then visit the other main ports for the discharge of her cargo. The vessel is due at Port Chalmers about May 10. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner Athehic reached Port Chalmers, her last port of call, from the United Kingdom early on Sunday morning. After discharging the balance of her English cargo, the Athenio will go to Timaru and Wellington to load for London. The Union Company advises that the Moana left Wellington at 7 a.m. on the 7th for San Francisco, via the usual way ports; The steamer Comet, which was' to sail from. New York in March, will visit Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and will then proceed to Melbourne and Sydney. The War Courage is due to reach New Zealand) about April 15. She will load wool in the dominion for Hull and Imminghaxn, for which ports she will leave about April 30.
Advice has been received that the N.Z. Shipping Company's steamer Rimutaloa was expected to leave London on April 5 for New Zealand, via Panama. The Kaikoura, en route from Egypt to New Zealand, reached Fremantle last week. She will leave Fremantle for Wellington, where she is due about April 16. The barque Antiope, which is owned by the Dunedin Iron Mills, reached San Francisco on March 31 after a passage of 69 days from Auckland. She will load at San Francisco for New Zealand.
Advice baa been received by the S.S. and A. Company that the steamer Tainui, en route from the United Kingdom to Now - Zealand, left Colon on April 5, and is expected to reach Wellington about April 28. Also that the Rananga, left Colon on the same day, and is cons'equently due at Wellington at the same time as the Tainui.
According to advice received here fronv London, the .New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rimutaka left there for Auckland on April 3, and the Paparoa on the same day for Wellington. ,"■.■"■ The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Whakatane left New York on March 21 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, via Ranama. She is' coming out on behalf of. the F. and S. agency. The vessel was reported to have cleared Panama Canal on March 31, and is due at Auckland about April 24. Advice has been received)' that the Ruahine, en route from Wellington to the United Kingdom, left Aden oh April 5. The Eenmera, en route from London to Auckland, left Kingston (Jamaica) on April 9, and is due at Auckland about the end of this month.
The Paparoa, with returning troops, left Glasgow on April 1 for Wellington, via Panama. She is due to reach New Zealand about the middle of May. Advice has been received that the Kia Ora left Liverpool on March 27 for Lyttelton, via Panama, and is due to reach New Zealand about May 8. The vessel will visit Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Arawa left London for Lyttelton, via Panama, on. April 1. She is due at Lyttelton about May -12.
