The Bruce Herald understands that a local resident is about to institute a motor passenger and goods service between Milton and Dunedin within the next few weeks. With the present freights and facilities afforded by the -railway this should prove a popular innovation, and if, as contended, he can lower the former and run a better time-table than thai 1 , at present in vogue, the service should prove a convenience deserving popular support.
