TRAMWAYMEN’S AWARD.

CHRISTCHURCH, March 29. The Arbitration Court, in the tramway, men’s case, have awardee} the employees t bonus of 10 per cent, on the total earnings. The court was unable to put the Christ* church men on the same footing as to hourg and wages as at Auckland and Wellington when the existing award expired in October, It would bo competent, however, for eitheg party to apply for a revision, and the fapfc that increased rates had been granted in those cities would be strong argument for ft similar increase in Christchurch.
