The travelling reporter of the "VVanganui The Nelson Mail states that the Nelson Provincial Fruitgrowers' Council was recently advised of a sudden rise in the price of fruit oases from lOjd to Is Id, based on an advance on the price of timber from the West Coast.. The matter -was at once taken up -with the Board of Trade, with the result that the board is visiting the West Coast to investigate the rise.
