This is to bo written from the viewpoint of the Soldiers, and will bo an intimate., interesting, and vivid record of their experiences, rather than simply a Military History. This will be in addition to tho Official Imperial History of the War. TO SECURE reliable and authoritative information at first hand, it is desirable that the Author should have access to Soldiers' private letters, diaries, sketches, and photographs.
