At the Quoonstown Court on Saturday, 13th, William Henry Lang, miner, of Glenorchy, was charged before Mr G. Cruickshank. S.M., with having stolen six bags of scheelite, valued at £46 4s, the property of the Glenorchy Scheelite Mining Company. Accused reserved his defence, and was committed for trial at the Invercargill Supreme Court sitting on May 28. Baii was allowed in one surety of £IOO and two of £SO each.
