WHITE PINE TIMBER.

WELLINGTON April 4. The National Efficiency Board to-day met representatives of the dairy produce, sawmilling, and allied industries, and discussed the question of conserving white pine timber for the dairy industry. A committee was set up to pro into the matter in detail. The board will report to the Government in duo course.
