SMALL STEAMER FOUNDERS.

L BLENHEIM, March 26. The "small steamer Elsie, engaged in the Sounds trade, struck a rock off Long Island. Queen Charlotte Sound, and sank in 20 minutes. AH on board were saved. The Elsie is a wooden steamer of 42 tons gross register, and was built at Picton in 1907. Her dimensions are: Length, i>9ffc sin; breadth, 14ft 4in; and depth, 6ft. Her engines are v of 65 horse-power.
