SUSPECT AEBESTED AT RAETIHT. WANGANUI, March £6. As Constable Wilson was walking up Seddon street, Rcietihi, he accosted a man about whom there was some euspicior.. When asked his name, the suspect KfPufd "Hill." "Are you sure it's no't Hall? said the constable. " Where do you oomo from, anyway?" "Oh, I've been here lor some time, "working outback. I'm all right," replied the suspected one. The constable then said: " Your name is Stephen James Hall, and you're wanted for the theft of £725, the property of the Australian commonwealth, in Sydney. Ihat was the end of it. Hall protested his innocence, and said he was not the one who had taken the money. He was brought before the court here, and was remanded.
