FINDING OF THE COURT. WELLINGTON, January 6. Tho Military Court's report on the Motuflii affair was before Cabinet to-day. The Defence Minister informed your correspondent subsequently that the'report was not Available for publication. He would probJ.bly have a statement to make on the subeo'fc to-morrow.

Tho evidence taken at tho inquiry, he added, had been published, and readers of the newspapers had had the fact 3 placed before them. The finding of the court was a military document, and publication in tho newspapers was not usual in such cases. The court had not been 'trying any individual. It is xwderstood that there is to be some further inquiry. The Minister of Defence will make his statement when certain matters of detail hayo been adjusted.
