GARDEN FETE AT MILTON.

Tho fete held in the Convent Grounds, Milton, on the 24th, was a pronounced success, and proved to be one of the most attractive functions ever held in connection with the local Catholic school. 'ihe convent gardens were well suited for such an event; while the recreation ground presented quite a gala appearance. In the schoolrooms were ' fitted up —fancy stall, in charge of Miss Grealish and tho Children of Mary; lolly and flower stall (Mrs Plover, assisted by Miss J. Quill and school pupils); refreshment rooms (Mias Coneys, assisted by Mesdames Kirby, Troy, Coleman, Misses Curran, Athy, Hanly, and MTlardy); cordials and sandwiches (Mrs Fowley, assisted by Misses Jones and V.
