DIVORCE CASE.
HEAVY DAMAGES AWARDED. WANGANUI, November 29. A defended divorce case, which occupied the attention of Mr Justic Edwards and a jury for two days, was concluded to-day. The parties were Edward George Rabone (contractor, petitioner), Nina Mace Rabone (respondent), and Alexander Reid (publican, Huntorvillo, co-respondent), from whom the petitioner claimed £ISOO damages. . Tiro respondent, in evidence, admitted adultery, and the jury returned a verdict in favour of the petitioner, with £750 damages. His Honor made a decree nisi order, with costs on the highest scale.
