IN RUMANIA.
"In view of von Mackensen's complete setback in Rumania and the reports of snow falling and the eriemy massing large reinforcements in the Bukowina, the Rumanians are constantly active. Numerous small engagements have occurred, in which the Rumanians were successful. They captured many prisoners, thus confirming the Rumanian's moral superiority over the enemy. A Russian communique states: The Rumanians captured a height south of Gorzechti, in the region of Ocna. A Gorman report says: Several Rumanian attacks near ISiarits Muncelul failed, with heavy losses. Rumanian attacks in the Oituz Valley were initially successful, but our counter-attacks repulsed them.
