AFRICAN OPERATIONS.

An East African official message states; After occupying the enemy’s advanced positions south-west of Lindi, wo indecisively attacked the main positions on Mihambia. There was severe fighting, with considerable losses on both sides. Wo reached the Msindy River, in the Kilwa area, pressing back the enemy towards Ma.henge, a strong force being engaged southward of that position. The military forces in Angola, supported by gunboats, attacked the native positions and killed 80 rebels and wounded ICO.
