A.J.O. RACES. FIRST Day—Saturday, APRIL 7. The Australian Jockey Club's autumn meeting was opened yesterday. The weather was flue, and the going good. There was a largo attendance. Jack Rico oponed tho programme, again proving a wonderful hurdler under on exceptional f eight. Lobunoff broko a leg and was destroyed. is jockey (M'l.can) was Injured. Tho Donoaster andicap was a very open race. Cettigne, King's Bounty, and Spurn were greatly fancied. At the mile post Prince Bardolph and Karanaud King went to the front. Ulva's Isle Was first into the straight, while The Fortune Hunter and Court Jester were moving up.
