The- aro formidably fortifying tho front towards Trieste, and have concentrated artillery beyond anything yet used in Italy. Eighty thousand Germans have arrived in the Austrian lines eastward) of Gorizia, in anticipation of a new Italian offensive. An Italian official report states: The enemy shelled a military hospital at Gorizia, despite visible red crosses. There vere six casualties amongst the staff. An avalanche in the Trentino buried 150 Austrian artillerymen and two heavy guns. Tire medical rejects of the classes 1676-81 (inclusive) liave been re-examined.
