CLYDESDALE HORSE SOCIETY OF NEW ZEALAND.
A neeting of the council of the Clyde* dale Horso Society, hold in Dunedjn on Wednesday, September 27, was attended by Messrs Alex. Hunter (in the chair). J. D. Wyllie, G. O. Thomson, J. W. Blair, and 3. Is.. Johnstone. Apologies were received from Messrs J. W Harding, Jas. Knight, Thomas Logan, James Got, L. R. Hamilton. James Grant, and Dr Reakea. Tho following candidates xoc membership were duly olocted:—Messrs A. B. Dnirs, West* mere, Wanganui; John Ivilpatviok, Greenvale, Waikaka; Blears Bros.. Walton, Waikato; David Fleming. Crookston; J. W. Jones. Pakaraka. Bay of Islands; Dilworth School of Agriculture. Auckland; Highden Estate, Awahuri by Feildmg; Wilson Bros., Bulls; Joseph Linklator, Palmerston North; Bonnet Perry, Lethbridge, Turakina; Isaao Jefferson, Marton; IT. R. Bunny, Carterton; Archd. Clark. Featherston; Stephen Smith. Martinborough; Wright, Stephenson, and Co. (Ltd.), Mastorton; Clutha and Mafau A. and P. Society, Balclutha; Wairarapa and East Const A. and P. Society, Carerton; Thomas Perry, Mangatoki, Taranaki. The prefix " Mania " was granted to Mr James J. Taylor, Marua, Wcetmere, Wanganui. and "Seafield" to Messrs Rhodes. Seafield, Castlecliff, Wanganui. Accounts amounting to £3B were passed for payment.
