Worms.
SOME STRIKING SYMPTOMS. A child who is afflicted with worms will often be in an indifferent state of health. It becomes peevish and irritable, and will have a strong tendency to pick the nose, and there will be severe itching of the lower bowel. Grinding the teeth and suddenly starting up in the sleep will also be noticed. The bowels are irregular, sometimes constipated, and at other times relaxed, with bloody discharges, as in dysentery, and not infrequently the discharges will be in flakes and shreds, which might be taken for partly-digested food. The best proof of worms is worms, and if their presence is suspected, immediate steps should be taken to positively establish the fact, and, once established. Comstock's " Dead Shot" Worm Pellets should be administered, according to directions. Worms require a specific medicine, and there ia no remedy so effective as these Pellets.
