IMPORTS AND EXPORTS.
WELLINGTON, July 20. Tho Now Zealand produce entered for export last week was valued at £555,034, and included the following:— Butter £12,718 Cheeso 43,474 Meat 15^.843 Hides 17-659 Tallow 20.724 Wool 242,252 Tho value of the imports into tlio dominion during the June quarter was £5.750,158. including specie valued at £210,250. Tho figures for tho corresponding quarter last year were respectively £4,483,934 and £553,261. During tho Juno quarter 58,4840 z of gold, valued at £234,230 was entered for duty for ovno'tation from tho dominion.
A shortage of farm labour in Now York and adjoining States lias been caused by tho exodua to the towns and cities to Hiako munitions.
