BADGE FOR SOLDIERS.
WELLINGTON, Juno 24. The Minister of Defence has approved of the issue of a universal badge for members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. It will be placed on the cap and collar, and consist of a fern leaf, with the words ''New Zealand" embossed thereon. It was stated in Parliament that the present badges were openly sold in a shop in Wellington.
