ANNIVERSARY OF CULLODEN.
Tlie 170th anniversary of Cullodcn fell tin's vera- on Sunday, and there was 110 public, ceremony, but the admirers of tha Jacobite Cause sent floral wreaths to bo placed on the memorial cairn erected on the battlefield A large floral evergreen wreath was sent by the Royalist Club, London, and a card attached bore the following inscription —"To the immortal memory of Prince Charles Edward Stuart, and of the gallant Highlanders who fell at Culloden. fighting under his banner for their rightful king the last time the Celt fought the. T'Hitdn " Anotlirr wreath was "From the Legitimist Jacobite Leaguo in Now Zealand, per Mr C C. Baanell. Jion. secretary to thab branch." It bore the following inscription: "In Memory of Prince Charles Lciwcrd and his gallant followers.
