WALLACE A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

The annual meeting of the Wallace A. and P. Association whs held at Otautau on the 9th in&t. Mr R. H. Bissett (president), in moving the adoption of the report and balance sheet, said the year had been a record one for farmers, every description of stock and produce bringing great prices, excepting oats, which at present prices hardly paid for the labour. The association had commenced the year with a debit balance of £49. and had closed it with a credit of £ll, which must bo considered highly satisfactory. The report was adopted. Mr J. Macdonald was elected president, and the other office-bearers were elected as follows : Vice-president, Mr W. Bradley; executive—Messrs J. Lindsay, 11. Kennedy, Thos. Norman, A. 0. Cochrane, E. Cicnfc, J. B. Purdue, and J. R. Rcidic. Mr J. Fisher was re-elected treasurer and Mr A. C. Mills auditor.
