DEATHS. HORNE.—On May 27, died of enteric fever at Zig Zag Hospital, Egypt, Trooper J. H. Horne, youngest son of William and Jane Horne, Eltham. M'MILLAN. —On Juno 15, at his mother’s residence, 24 Lawrence street, Mornington (as the result of wounds received while in action), John, beloved son of Margaret and the late William M'Millan, of Waitahuna West; aged 24 years. He did his duty. WILSON.—On May 28, killed in action, Private Thomas Wilson, oldest and dearly beloved son of David and Mary Jane Wilson, Flag Swamp; aged 36 years. Greater love hath no man than this: that he lay down his life for his friends.
