A. Welshman visiting London saw " Please I riii"- the boll" written on a door. He did so,°and in a moment a powdered"! little footman appeared and inquired, \\ ell, what do von- want?" _.. " I want nothing, said the \\ clsnman. "T only rang' the bell because it says- so here." , ~ "Oh! I suppose you vc come trom tne land where nanny goats grow on gooseberry bushes?" " Xcs." said the Welshmen, but in London T see stranger sights still, for you've onl- to press a button and a monkey pops out!"
