Keep Young-looking.
Don't let yourself age. There are quite a number of girls—especially these days of strenuous work for women—who are losing all their youthful looks, and unwittingly depreciating their value in the labour market, by allowing themselves to look older than their years. It is often said that the "successful woman-worker must never appear more than 25."
With care and ordinary good luck any girl may look five-and-twenty till another 10 years have drifted over her head, but she must eat enough, sleep enough, and get enough fresh air. At five-and-twenty a girl's hair and complexion require extra care. Both are apt to get a little dry._ This means premature greyness and wrinkles. Much brushing, a good hair tonic, and the application of a little brilliantine will make the hair glossy and plentiful, whilst the habit massaging the face and throat nightly with cold cream, after bathing with hot water —will keep wrinkles and erow's feet at bay. For the rest.—nine hours' sleep in a dark room, a daily walk, and plain food will keep girlish looks into middle age.
