DISCHARGED SOLDIERS.

Discharged soldiers who have not yet re* ceived their free railway passages may do> so on application' to the Base Records office* Wellington. They will receive special per** mission to wear uniform while travelling, The passes to be issued will be available till April 30. Applicants for passes must state the dates between which they desire' to travel. Misconduct while travelling will render the men liable to punishment. Their passes may be taken away from them b# any officer, non-commissioned officer, or military policeman. Their case will ba" then tried before the Defence officer located nearest to the spot where the misconduct took place. If the officer decides on the- evidenco that the accused is guilty the railway pass, taken from the aocuseqi man, is to be forwarded to Wellington.
