CONGRATULATSED BY THE KING.

LONDON, July 12. General Botha, in thanking Lord Kitchener for his congratulatory message, said: “ I hope soon that some of my men may take a share in the greater task in Europe.” King George has congratulated General Botha, and expressed his admiration of his conduct of the campaign—an admiration which, his Majesty states, is shared by his subjects throughout the Empire.
