For some reason the Tourist Department Ims decider! to dispose of its collection of birds and animals at Rotorua, comprising fcoas. parrots, pnknbo. pe.icn-bs. an t other birds, besides monkeys. This collection, which was formerly somewhat of an attraction at the Sanatorium, lias been offered to the Wellington Zoo, and the City Council has accepted the gift.
