ANDERSON.—On April 28, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Private James George Anderson, oldest son of the late Robert and Mary Anderson, 468 Leith street (late fruiterer, Dundas street), and grandson of the late Robert Anderson, of the old flour mills, Woodhaugh; in his 22nd year. He gave his life for his King and Country. BEAUMONT. —Killed in action at the Dardanelles, Ernest, second son of George and Jane Beaumont, 21 Church street, Roslyn, Dunedin; aged 28 years. BROOKS.—On May 2, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Joseph Kennedy Brooks, second son of Mr and Mrs J. S. Brooks, Lawrence; aged 25 years. CLARKE.—On April 25, 1915. killed in action at the Dardanelles, Arthur Wilfrid Marshall, dearly beloved eldest son of Mrs M. Hargrave, Princes street, Musselburgh, and the late William Clarke, of Lyttelton; in his 31st year. Greater love hath no man than to give his life for his country. COATES.—On May 30, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Frederick John Coates, second son of R. and J. Coates, St. Albans, Christchurch, and ohly brother of the Rev. R. George Coates, of £t. Michael and All Angels, Anderson Bay; aged 32. CROSSAN. —On June 18, died of wounds received in action at the Dardanelles, Gilbert William, dearly beloved fourth son of Mrs W. Crossan, Roslyn; aged 26 years. Till the day dawn and tho shadows flee away.

DUNCAN.—On May 2, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Private William George Duncan, clearly beloved second son of Elizabeth and John Duncan, MataUra; aged 20 years. Deeply regretted. FRASER. —Between April 25 and May 3, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Private James Fraser, second beloved son of Alexander and Sarah Fraser, Waihola; born at Lcthenty Mills, Aberdeenshire, April 12, 1888. FOUNTAIN.—On April 27, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Ernest Harold, the dearly loved eldest son of Albert and Amy Fountain, 42 Ann street, Roslyn; aged 28 years. He gave his life for King and country. GILLANDERS—On May 8, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Thomas Alexander, eldest son .Kenneth Alexander Gillanders, Te Kuiti, and brother of Mrs J. C. Loan, the Manse, Owaka. HARPER. —Killed in action at the Dardanelles, Donald Micklefield, third son of Frederick E. Harper, of Bay road, Dunedin; aged 18 years. LOVE.—On April 27, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Private William Thomas, youngest son of Alexander and Janet Love (late of Green Island); in his 24th year*. He gave his life for his country. M'AHAN. —Killed in action at the Dardanelles, Signaller Janies M'Ahan, the dearly beloved third son of Thomas and Catherine M‘Ahan, of Abbotsford, Green Island; in his 23rd year. Ho gave his life for King and Country. MACINTYRE.—Died in Boulogne Hospital, William Alexander Macintyre, Sergeant-major 4th Cameron Highlanders (Territorials), eldest son of Mrs Malcolm Macintyre, Fort William, and nephew of Alexander Matheson, Roslyn.. MUNN.-On April 27, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Robert Russell, youngest son of Mrs J. Munn, Highgate, Roslyn; in his 24th year. Deeply mourned. MURCOTT.—On May 3, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Stanley George Murcott, seventh son of Mrs E. Murcott, Hampden; aged 24 years. RISK. —On May 2, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Robert, youngest son of David and Elizabeth Risk; in his 21st year. SELBY—On April 26, 1915, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Wilfrid Gilholme, dearly beloved third son of Mrs E. and the late C. W. G. Selby, Grace street, Invercargill; aged 34 years. STEWART.—On May 16, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Edward MTntosh, fourth son of David J. Stewart, Hanmer Springs (late of Naseby); aged 31.
