NESTLE’S MILK COMPANY

A NEW DOMINION INDUSTRY. (From Oca Own ConßzspoNnEXT.) PALMERSTON N., June 20. It is stated on good authority that Nestle’s Milk Company has purchased several acres of Mr H. Waldograyc s farm at Awapuni, and that it is its intention to establish large manufacturing works on the site. The negotiations Jor the property have been in progress for some time past, and their completion means that Palmerston will in the near future have a large industry in its midst employing a large number of bands and requiring large quantities of raw material. The fact that the company has selected Palmerston for the ■works is duo to its very central position and the facilities that the district affords for obtaining the necessary supplies of milk.
