NEW ZEALAND EXPORTS

GOVERNMENT RETURNS. WELLINGTON, June 10. The Government return of exports for the month of April has been issued, and shows the total value of exports for that month as £2,818,449, as compared with £3,141,394 in April, 1914. From this and previous returns the Trade Review has compiled the following comparison of the exports of principal products for the seven months of our export season —October to

The not increase for the seven months is £3,383,511, or slightly over 20 per cent., which practically all arises from the three chief lines—wool, frozen meat, and dairy produce. Gold, Kauri gum, and hemp are the only lines showing a decrease. The export of gold is restricted by the Government, and the other two lines have suffered by the war.
