RIO DE JANEIRO, May 30,

The Gazette Denoticias states that a widespread plot has been discovered in Southern Brazil, where there is a large German colony. Supplies of arms were collected at Annitopolis, and it w-as intended to proclaim the independence of the State of Santa Marina.

An outbreak upset the plans. The Brazilian Government has notified the German Minister of the plans.
