CAPTURING GERMAN TRADE
LONDON, May 20. In connection with the world-wide movement for rendering the British Empire self-contained, the Society of the Chemical Industry decided to establish a permanent information bureau, and to take other steps in conjunction with the parent society in London to develop the chemical industry. Forty-six municipal councils in New South Wales have approved following the movement, but 30 others have tacitly negatived it.
