THE TOTARA CAMP.

“ ROUGH-UP’S ” ENVIABLE RECORD. (Fuou Ouß Own* Goa ukspoxdsnt.) GREYMOUTH. March 15. The Territorial camp at Totara Elat proceeds without noteworthy incident, good training work having boon put in during the past week. This, tho 13th (Westland and Canterbury) Regiment holds a most enviable record .It has already furnished 470 rank and file to tho Expeditionary Forces, and it also has three majors, one captain, and two lieutenants serving in Egypt. In fact, the regiment has been so depleted of officers that it was thought that it would be impossible to hold the present camp. The “ rough ups,” as the regiment is familiar.y known, have gained a splendid name in Egypt, and the men supplied are the finest in the reinforcements, and when the real thing comes along the " rough ups” will ha in the thick of .it.
