QUEEN ALEXANDRA’S BIRTHDAY
LONDON, December 3. Amongst the birthday congratulations received by Queen Alexandra was the following telegram from the WLitechapel costermongers; —“Many happy returns to our gracious and gentle lady, who always thinks of the poor and suffering, who is strongly beloved of every' class of her sons and subjects.”
