Tho ■weather in Dunedin on Friday was the worst experienced for some time. Heavy I rain set in early in tho day, and continued ! almost incessantly until well on towards 1 evening. Tho rainfall registered here for tho 24 ' hours ended 9 a.m. was 29 points. Rain ; foil at night, with a prospect of continuing ail clay. November 25. November 29. The rainfall registered hero for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. was ,305 in. A southeast rain fell at night after a cold, cloudy clay. ALEXANDRA, November 25. _ Wo have had a delightful rain, and it should do much to freshen up the parched pastures and bring away the crops, particularly as the weather is also particularly warm. HILLGROYE, November 27 The rainfall at Hillgrovo registered at 9 a.m. on the 25th was 14 points, and at 9 a.m. on the 27th it was 5 points. The barometer is recording the very low reading of 28.65 deg. NASEBY, November 27. Heavy rain has fallen in the Maniototo district during the last few days, and stiu continues. After the extremely dry weatiie that has been experienced during the last few weeks the country is benefiting greatly by the change. CROMWELL, November 27. Early in the week a splendid mild rain I was experienced for several days, and, al* ! though it delayed shearing, it was a welcome change from a succession of heavy gales. At present the weather is decidedly squally, with cold showers sweeping over the hills. GALLOWAY. November 27. The rainfall registered here for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. was 8 points. DIPTON, November 25. 'Five rainfall registered here for the 24 hours ended 9.30 a.m. was 19 points. RANFURLY, November .30. The rainfall registered here for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. on the 29th was 10 points
