GRANT.—At her residence, Deo street, North End, Invercargill, on Wednesday, August 19, 1914, Mary Katherine, beloved wife ofj Peter Grant, inspector of machinery for Southland; aged 42 years. HARDING.—On Friday, August 21, at her son-in-law’s residence (Mr D. M'Konzie), Palmerston, Ellen, relict of Joseph Harding; in her seventy-first year. Deeply regretted. R.I.P.
