Sir John Fuller has resigned the State Governorship owing to health and family reasons.

LONDON, November 27

It is officially announced that the Hon. Arthur Lyulph Stanley has been appointed Governor of Victoria.

The Hon. ArthumStanley is the eldest son of the fourth Baron Sheffield. He was born in 1875. Educated at Oxford University, he took his B.A. degree, and was called to the Bar in 1902. He was in the House of Commons from 1906 to 1910, being Liberal member for Eddisbury Division, Cheshire.
