WEST AUSTRALIAN TRAGEDY

PERTH, November 21. Richard Thomas Williams, a settler at Warrooma, disappeared in the middle of September. His body has been found buried a few inches below the surface close to his residence. His skull was battered in. Odgers, ■who shot Mrs Molyneaux on October 5, worked for Williams. Early in October he sold a horse and cart and a rifle belonging to Williams, and gave a receipt for the money in the name of “ William.” November 22. Odgers denies any knowledge of Williams’s murder. He declares that he never worked for him, and states that ho was given the horse and cart to sell by another man.
