DUNEDIN STARR-BOWKETT BUILDING SOCIETY.

A special meeting of the Dunedin SarrBowkott Building adjourned from August 7, was continued on the 19th in the Oddfellows’ Hall. Stuart street. There was a large attendance of shareholders, and Mr M. Cohen occupied the chair At the meeting held in August a committee had been appointed to report on certain matters, and that committee submitted a report outlining the manner in which it is proposed to repay members. The report concluded: “In our judgment, the group can bo wound up in five years and a-half, as from May 3, 1314, and that the cost of dissolution should not exceed £750 approximately, which should leave about £lO per share available for distribution as profits. After slight discussion the report was adopted.
