WRETCHED NEURALGIA Tonic Treatment Needed to Cure The Complaint. Palmerston Woman a Great Sufferer till she tried Dr. Williams’ Pink Pills. Neuralgia is a nervous disorder. Over and over again the value of Dr Williams’ Pink Pills in this complaint has been proved. They make the good blood required to keep the nerves in perfect tone. A striking instance is given in the case of Mrs Mary Hansen, of 259 Mam street East, Palmerston North. To a reporter she said: — , , ~ , “ For many years I hardly passed one day free from Neuralgia. The pain started at the base of the spine and spread all the way up over my head to my temples; without exaggeration the pain seemed to almost craze me. I had hot salt packs on the spine and wet vinegar-soaked cloths round my temples. Some days I could barely lift my head or get off the bed, even to look after my young family. The skin of my face was flushed and so hot and tender I could not boar a touch. The attacks always occurred about the same time each day, say just about tea time. Every nerve and muscle seemed on fire. Many a night I’ve got up and walked the room halt crazed with agony. Not one day had any pleasure for me. I was under the doctor for six months, and after trying everything possible he had to give me Fortunately I read of Dr Williams _ Pink Pills. I tried one box as an experiment, for I never expected to get any permanent relief, but after a week my husband was astounded at the change in my looks and he himself sent for half-a-dozen boxes more. Little by little I grew stronger, taking just three pills per day. My nerves slowly gained tone and the neu ‘ ralgia and debility have not returned. I gained coloured and appetite and ever since I have felt as well as I look, and that could not be better.” Dr Williams’ Pink Pills are 3s a box, six boxes 15s 3d, of all dealers or from The Dr Williams’ Medicine Co., of Australasia, Ltd., Wellington. The fishermen at Lake Ellesmere usually get some good hauls of herrings at this time of the year, but this season the catches have been much smaller than usual, owing to the outlet of the lake being blocked, so that the herrings cannot get in from the sea. There are largo ehoals of herring* along the beach at present.
